January 20 (Friday, 7 p.m.) at Prairie Lights, Iowa City’s premier bookstore. This fine establishment thrives at 15 S. Dubuque St. Social gathering to follow at the Prairie Lights coffeehouse on the same floor.

January 26 (Thursday, 7 p.m.) at the Hearst Center in Cedar Falls. This event is part of the popular “Final Thursday Reading Series.” The Hearst Center is at 304 West Seerley Blvd.

January 27 (Friday, 5:30 p.m. “social hour,” 6 p.m. reading) at River Lights Bookstore in Dubuque. River Lights, at 1098 Main in the historic downtown district, is a key player in the community’s economic and arts revival. Live music to accompany reading.
